Your Story, in a different language

You don’t need reinvention.

You need translation. Your career already contains the evidence of who you are: leadership under pressure, decisions in uncertainty, standards upheld when no one was watching. We help you turn that into a clear, compelling professional story.

We understand that not everything can be said. Some operations cannot be named. Some roles cannot be fully described. Some achievements cannot be quantified in the way a recruiter or hiring manager might expect.

Our approach is built around this reality — drawing out the depth of your experience while maintaining the discretion your background demands. If you are a service leaver navigating resettlement, a senior intelligence professional considering your next chapter, or a security specialist ready for a new challenge, Keystone is the partner supporting your next move.

Keystone Careers was created by David Donovan, an intelligence and investigations leader with 25 years experience in Defence Intelligence, investigations management and executive consultancy.

David has lived the resettlement journey himself. He knows the moment when military experience meets the civilian world, and the language suddenly changes.

He’s seen how much service leavers achieve, and how rarely that value is expressed in a way employers immediately recognise. That’s why he helps clients translate their careers into clear, compelling corporate language.

His mission is simple: to help service leavers show the exceptional competence they already have, in a language the corporate world understands; showing people how to articulate their impact, craft a CV that reflects their true capability, and interview with confidence by answering the questions that really matter.
